Koala Menu only collects information needed to recognize menus and validate the product.

Menu photos

Menu photos are processed by image storage (Vercel Blob), OCR and translation (Google Cloud) and AI services (Google Gemini, OpenRouter), and kept so you can view them again. Photo URLs are random and unguessable, but anyone with a link can open it, so avoid capturing people, faces, receipts or other private information.

Usage data

The app needs no account. We record a randomly generated anonymous ID, product actions, crash and error details, and IP addresses for abuse prevention. We do not record screens or form contents.

Deletion and contact

To delete your menu photos and scan history, email leasangle@gmail.com with the data ID shown under Me → About in the app. We will handle it and reply within 7 days.
